A major Dorset bus company increased the prices of its fares this weekend to compensate for nearly £1m in fuel tax.
Wilts and Dorset, which operates the M1 and M2 buses across Bournemouth and Poole, implemented new prices as of yesterday.
Passengers are now expected to pay an additional 10p-30p on both single and return fares.
Wilts and Dorset also operate the UniLinx service to Bournemouth University, however this will not be affected by the fare increase.
