Nerve Radio is back and this time we’ve ordered a supersize Arrivals FM takeover to wet our appetite with.
Arrivals FM will be taking over Nerve Radio by its new excitable hands and bringing you lovely listeners a fortnight of cavorting, merriment and general radio goodness.
With it all kicking off on Saturday 15th September and drawing to a close on the Sunday 30th, the Arrivals FM takeover will be broadcasting live every day from the earliest hours to the latest of evenings across the whole of Bournemouth and Poole on 87.9 FM as well as online via the Nerve Media website.
There’s going to be so much to entertain your ears with. Our daytime shows will be led by a team of well-seasoned presenters shaping up their shows with entertaining games, chat, competitions and news relevant to you. Our evening presenters will bring to the table their specialism in finding your favourite new music with genres spanning across rock, alternative, folk, drum and bass and many more. The evenings will also see great comedy take to the airwaves too; there really is something for everyone!
With such great music and voices on your airwaves why not get involved yourself by texting, tweeting and facebooking us throughout the two weeks and hear your views read out on air.
Nerve Radio will also be showing our faces at the Freshers Fair capturing everything that goes down, so make sure you come say hello, you might even chatting to one of our presenters or reporters and be heard on Nerve Radio!
If you like the sound of this so much you actually want to be a apart of the team, well there’s good news for you as you can. Nerve Radio wants you to join our ever evolving station, whether it’s having your voice on air with your own show or something more behind the scenes with producing, editing, or writing – there is literally so much to get involved with.
So if the Freshers Fair is too far away and you want to get involved with Nerve Media now (radio, magazine, TV and online) please contact our radio’s station manager, Charlotte Gay, at charlotte@nervemedia.org.uk or our Nerve chief, Joe Tattersall, at sunerve@bournemouth.ac.uk or on 01202 961681.
